Hi, I’m Mike Xie — an indie maker building tools for creators since 2020.
CreativeToolAI started because every “best AI tool” list I found online read like an affiliate cash-grab: 50 tools, identical 5-star ratings, no opinions, no losers. Useless when you actually need to pick one.
So I built the opposite. Each tool here is hand-tested, ranked against a published methodology, and I’m not afraid to say something is overpriced or worse than its free alternative.
No AggregateRating theater. No paid placement. If a tool is bad for YouTubers, the page will tell you.
